    Applicants should submit the Demand and appropriate fees directly to\n \t\t\tthe International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA) they desire to prepare the\n \t\t\tInternational Preliminary Examination Report. The demand must be filed prior to the\n \t\t\texpiration of whichever of the following periods expires later: (A) three months from\n \t\t\tthe date of transmittal to the applicant of the international search report and the\n \t\t\twritten opinion; or (B) 22 months from the priority date. Otherwise the demand shall be\n \t\t\tconsidered as if it had not been submitted and the International Preliminary Examining\n \t\t\tAuthority shall so declare. See PCT Rule 54. In order to take\n \t\t\tadvantage of a national phase entry time limit of at least 30 months from the priority\n \t\t\tdate in relation to all States designated in the international application, it may be\n \t\t\tnecessary to file a demand before the expiration of 19 months from the priority date.\n \t\t\tSee MPEP §\n \t\t\t\t1842, subsection VII.A.\n
