  • (a) The applicant may, at any time prior to\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe expiration of 22 months from the priority date, request that a\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\tsupplementary international search be carried out in respect of the\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\tinternational application by an International Searching Authority that\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\tis competent to do so under Rule\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t45bis.9. Such requests may be\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\tmade in respect of more than one such Authority.\n
